First, join any Yahoo groups you can find for homeschoolers in your area. To find these, go to groups.yahoo.com and then search for your county and homeschool. Second, go hang out at the library during the day. So far, everywhere we have lived we have found that homeschoolers hang out at the library -- often arranging group events in the library's conference room in the early afternoon. Since you didn't mention where you live, I have no idea if you live near me or not. This should get you on the right path to find some friends. I stumbled across you and I am looking for other homeschoolers in the area. I have 3 children that are homeschooled; an 11 year old girl and a set of 5 year old twin boys. I don't know if you can help or not but it is worth a try. I am looking for a way for my daughter to have some interaction with other homeschoolers. This is her first year and she is not liking the fact that she doesn't have anyone her own age to talk to. If you know anything that would help, I would sooooo appreciate it. Hi. It looked like just what I was looking for. I'm planning to start a music class at our church and I'm also a homeschooling mom. I also have my degree in music ed. and learned Orff and Kodaly in college, but it has been many years since I've used it, and then only as a student teacher and substitute teacher for a few months until my first son was born. I was looking for something to use as a guideline as I teach. I can't find any way to buy your book or download it. Could you let me know where I can find it?
